Honor of Kings: World FAQ
Every answer is based on official announcements or the live Chinese version, with speculation clearly labeled.
When does Honor of Kings: World release globally?
No global release date has been announced. The game launched in mainland China on April 10, 2026 (PC) and April 17, 2026 (mobile), and a first global closed PC alpha ran May 21–27, 2026 in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. Any specific global date you see quoted is speculation until Level Infinite confirms one.
What platforms will Honor of Kings: World be on?
In China the game is live on PC, Android and iOS. The global alpha test ran on PC. Console versions have not been officially confirmed for the global release.
Is Honor of Kings: World a gacha game?
Partly. Based on the Chinese version, monetization centers on a cosmetics gacha (skins and appearance items) rather than pulling playable characters. Details may change for the global version.
Is it the same game as Honor of Kings (the MOBA)?
No. Honor of Kings is a mobile MOBA; Honor of Kings: World is a separate open-world action RPG set in the same universe, featuring familiar heroes from the franchise.
Will there be an English version?
Yes. The May 2026 global alpha build was English-only, and TiMi has said broader language support is planned for future versions. The game was built with global audiences in mind from the start.
How can I join the next test?
Register on the official Honor of Kings: World website and follow the official social channels. Test recruitment windows open and close quickly — we track every new signup window on this site.
Can I play the Chinese version now?
The Chinese version requires a mainland China account and identity verification, which makes it impractical for most overseas players. If you just want to know what the game is like, our CN version coverage summarizes systems, heroes and content in English.
