First global alpha recap: what testers saw in the May 2026 PC build

alphaglobal

The first global closed alpha for Honor of Kings: World ran from May 21 to May 27, 2026, on PC, for selected players in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

The test build was English-only. TiMi described it as an early build focused on gathering feedback on core gameplay systems, with additional language support planned for future versions.

The alpha gave overseas players first-hand access to the game's real-time squad combat and open-world exploration in the world of Primaera, expanding the Honor of Kings universe — which counts over 260 million monthly active users in the original MOBA.

Signal for the global launch: publishers run regional closed alphas when localization and infrastructure work is underway. No date is confirmed, but the machine is clearly moving. We track every new test registration window on our beta guide page.
